One of the great blessings in John’s and Tricia’s lives has been adopting children. The Lord gave them Amanda in 2012 when she was eight. Amanda is from Peru and the product of missions. She is deaf, presumably from birth and has some other disabilities. She has a sweet spirit and has never met a stranger. At summer camp in Washington State in 2022, Amanda received Christ as her Savior. She is our best lead into witnessing because she has no fear of asking others if they are saved. Amanda’s testimony speaks to the heart of people in cultures where people with disabilities are cast aside. It is beautiful to see how God uses Amanda on the Go Team. |
