The word gospel simply means good news.  In the Bible there is good news for all people, including the Deaf.  The good news is found in I Corinthians 15:1-4, where Paul said:  Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.  The next verses tell us he was seen alive by over 500 witnesses.  The good news is:

Jesus died for our sins.

Jesus was buried.

Jesus rose again.

He did all of this so we could live with Him in heaven for all of eternity.  This is the gospel GO Deaf Missions wants to carry to the deaf worldwide. God wants everyone, including the deaf, to receive forgiveness of sins and trust in Jesus to save them from an eternity in Hell.  If you have never made this decision, we at GO Deaf Missions invite you to ask Jesus to save you today. The Bible gives us simple steps to receiving Christ and becoming a child of God.

  1. 1) Realize your condition.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  No one is good enough to go to heaven on their own merit.  No matter how much good we do, we still fall short.

  2. 2) Realize the penalty for sin.
Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death.  Just as there are wages for good, there is punishment for wrong.  The penalty for our sin is eternal separation from God in Hell.

  3. 3) Believe Christ died and rose again for you.
Romans 5:8  But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Christ’s great love for us was shown when He died on the cross and rose again from the dead to pay for our sin debt.

  4. 4) Trust Christ alone as your Saviour.
Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.   Romans 10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”  Everlasting life is a gift purchased by the blood of Jesus and offered freely to those who call upon Him by faith.

God wants everyone to hear his good news and decide to receive his son. You can do it right now.  It is important to understand saying the right words will not save you, but putting your faith in Jesus Christ will save you and make you a part of the family of God, forever. To invite Jesus into your heart, you can pray something like the prayer below. God will understand you in any language, including sign language. Just pray something like this from your heart:

Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner.  Please forgive me for my sins.  I now trust you as my personal Saviour.  Come into my heart and save my soul from Hell.  Please take me to Heaven when I die.  Thank you for saving me, Jesus.  Amen.
